German manufacturers of machine tools become the third largest suppliers for China
From the 11th
China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT), we can learn that the
trade between China and Germany has developed rapidly and vigorously. At
present German manufacturers of machine tools has become the third
largest supplier in Chinese market and they occupies 16% of the Chinese
market shares. And China is the most important sales market for German
manufacturers of machine tools. In the recent five years, the machine
tools exported form Germany to China which valued 1 billion European
dollars totally, has been increased by 35%.
However, as Doctor
WilfriedSchfe, the executive director of Germany Machine Tools
Manufacturers Association, said, the trade between Germany and China is
not only a one-way street. The export volume from China to Germany ranks
the tenth place in China’s total export volume at present and it is
still increasing in a bidigitate percentage in recent years.
It was reported that there were 140 German companies to attend the 11th
show and the total area of German pavilion, the biggest foreign
pavilion in this show, doubled in comparison with the show last year. It
was also reported that all known German machine tools manufacturers
were present in this show. This fully proved that the Chinese market is
very important to German industry.
